I have a less than 1 year old Netgear router that the power supply died on. They only give 'free' customer support the first 3 months you own the product.

If something happens after that you have to pay for email, phone or chat support. So their warranty is really only 90 days, not one year. What good is a warranty if you have to pay to contact them for help while the product is still under warranty. The cost of buying a replacement power supply is less than paying them to help with getting a replacement one.

Not worth it. Will never buy another product from this company again unless they change this policy.
